Reseller Control Panel
Even if you plan to leverage Storefront or our API, you’ll want to start with the Reseller Control Panel (RCP). It’s the central hub where you’ll fund your account, customize your end-user messaging, and configure other important account settings. From here, you can also register and manage all OpenSRS services for your customers.
Account setup
To keep your services running smoothly and deliver a seamless customer experience, you’ll need to set up three areas of your account: settings, funds, and messaging. If you plan on using our API or third-party tools, you’ll also need to retrieve your API key. These videos will walk you through each step:
Update your account
Add funds
Configure messages
Retrieve your API key
OpenSRS Storefront
With Storefront, you can start selling domains directly from your website in minutes—no code required. It’s free with your OpenSRS account and includes an on-brand search and checkout, an admin portal for you, and a customer portal where they can self-manage.
To get started, follow four simple setup steps:
STEP 4
Go live
Link your Storefront on your website and let customers know they can start buying or transferring domains.
Tips to keep in mind
To process Storefront orders, you’ll need sufficient funds in your Reseller Control Panel.
Storefront sends out on-brand customer emails (like order confirmations) for you. But to maintain a cohesive customer experience, there are a few policy-related emails you’ll need to configure in the Messaging tab of the RCP:
Registrant verification message to registered domain holder
WHOIS Data reminder policy
Our RCP Messaging Guide covers how to customize these.
